The Legacy Side Mount Starting Platform is designed for use on competitive pools.
This platform can be ordered to fit almost any deck and water height variable.
Each Legacy Starting Platfrom is custom constructed to your facility’s exact measurements. The Legacy Side Mount Starting Platform meets the FINA, NCAA, NFSHSA, USMS, USAS, and competition pool rules and regulations.
This starting block utilizes the RockSolid Anchor. The anchor system comes with a “no wobble” guarantee. The anchor securely hugs the frame and can be tightened with minimal effort. The RockSolid Anchor allows for permanent or removable starting platform installation. It is constructed from heavy duty 304 stainless steel. This anchor also permits swimmers to have a more steady start, therefore lowering competitive times.
The Legacy Side Mount Starting Platform frame is constructed of 2.5” x .120” wall, 304 stainless steel tubing. The square tubing design is aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound. The foot board and backstroke bar are attached to 1.5” x .065” wall stainless steel tubing and have caps welded to the ends. The frame is powder coated for added corrosion resistance.
The starting block backstroke bar is constructed of 1.00” OD x .065” wall and is capped with stainless steel tubing. This backstroke bar can come in four different handle designs to better suit your facility.
Both the step and platform are constructed of an acrylic outer body skin and a non-slip, sanded tread over a solid laminated board covered with hand-laid fiberglass and resin roving. The platform is mounted onto the weldment at a 10 degree angle.

21” to 26” anchor setback.
Height:
19” to 29.5” from deck to top front edge of platform.
Foot board:
24” wide x 30” deep, sanded tread for safety.
Step:
Large 8” deep x 12” wide for safety.
